Valerie KuehneValerie's love of glass as an art medium has extended over many decades. Since 2012, she has created fused or kiln-formed glass art herself. She has studied with experts, master teachers and artists from throughout North America and Europe. Her goal is to fuse glass in creative ways that achieve extraordinary results. Valerie loves colour and vivid creations tend to dominate her studio. She also enjoys creating pieces that have a real presence, so she doesn't typically think small! |
Valerie's artistic practice has only recently become a primary focus for her. She is grateful that she can create each week -- exploring new techniques, refining old ones, and always challenging herself to experiment with fresh ideas and improve her skills.
Valerie's glass has been exhibited in many juried Fine Arts Shows. She also welcomes commissions. As a result, her pieces are held in collections throughout Canada, the USA, Europe and Australia.
