Valerie KuehneMy love of glass as an art medium has extended over many decades. Since 2012, I have created fused or kiln-formed glass art myself. I have studied with experts and master teachers locally, and throughout North America. My goal is to fuse glass in creative ways that achieve extraordinary results. I love colour and vivid creations tend to dominate my studio. I also enjoy creating pieces that have a real presence, so I don't typically think small! |
My artistic practice has only recently become a primary focus for me. I am grateful that I can create each week -- exploring new techniques, refining old ones, and always challenging myself to improve my skills and abilities.
My glass has been exhibited in several juried Fine Arts Shows and I welcome commissions. As a result, my pieces are held in collections throughout Canada, the USA, Europe, and Australia.
