Susan Geddes

My love of creating art began in 1978, painting with watercolours. At this time I  lived BC’s Kootenay Mountains; I was surrounded and inspired by
their natural beauty. I moved to Victoria in the early eighties and I attended art college at Victoria College of Art and Camosun College in the Visual Arts Department and I had found my passion. 
In 1988 I purchased an art gallery and found another aspect of the artist’s life. I continued on this path for 12 years where I had the privilege to view art from a business woman’s and promoter perspective.

Since 2003 I have been painting full-time and feel excited every day when I step into my studio to create. Colour and texture are my guides and the lure of a blank canvas my muse. My full biography can be found on my website.
It is my desire to give back and I have donated many paintings for auction and two to different hospitals for children.
